PM greets Tigers as they make history beating Kiwis in New Zealand

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for the first-ever T20 victory over New Zealand.

Tigers beat host Kiwis in the first T20I by 5 wickets for the first time in New Zealand’s land at McLean Park, Napier on Wednesday.

Chasing 134 runs, Bangladesh scored 137 runs in 18.4 overs by losing 5 wickets.

Mahedi Hasan has become the player of the match.
