Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday forecasted that weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours from 9am today.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country", it said.
The depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean moved west-northwestwards and now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area (near lat: 5.5oN, lon: 83.7oE) at 06 AM today.
It is likely to move west-northwesterly direction and intensify further.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to tomorrow early morning.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 30.9 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was 13.3 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
