Mahfuj Alam, adviser to the interim government has urged the people to remain calm in order to protect the sovereignty of Bangladesh.
He has made this appeal today(Tuesday) through a Facebook Post.
He urged the people to stay calm for the sake of the recent uprising that ended the rain of Sheikh Hasina.
Mahfuj Alam stated, "Stay calm to protect the ‘mass uprising’ and the sovereignty of Bangladesh. Ensure the social security of the innocent minorities."
In his Facebook post, he added, "The government will soon take appropriate measures against all traitors and terrorists."
Earlier, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Rural Development, and Co-operatives also commented that those who cause disorder will not be spared in the effort to protect the country's sovereignty.
