Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to visit Bangladesh by end of April next.
An official on condition of anonymity from Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka confirmed the matter to online news portal banglanews24.com on Tuesday.
However, there was a speculation that Ishaq Dar will be visiting Bangladesh on April 11 but Pakistan High Commission dismissed the matter.
On March 9, Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain met Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Jeddah.
In the meeting both side discussed the historical, religious, and cultural ties between the two countries. They particularly emphasized boosting trade, people-to-people connectivity, and cultural exchanges.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting.
