The National Sadaqatul Fitra Fixing Committee has set the minimum Fitra for this year at Tk 110 per person and the maximum at Tk 2,805.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the Islamic Foundation’s conference room on Tuesday. The session was chaired by Mufti Mawlana Abdul Malek, Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, with scholars and committee members in attendance.
Following the meeting, the chairman announced the new rates to journalists.
Last year, the minimum Fitra was Tk 115 per person, while the maximum was Tk 2,970.
