The country’s local hockey players formed a 13-member ad hoc committee for the Bangladesh Hockey Players’ Welfare Association (BHPWA) and submitted it to the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) today(Monday), reports The Daily Sun.
National players Hasan Jubayer Niloy was made the president and Pushkar Khisa Mimo was made the general secretary.
“The Bangladesh Hockey Players’ Welfare Association had committee, but they had not activities. We formed an ad hoc committee on behalf of all hockey players. Today we submit it to the federation,” said Mimo.
The other members of ad hoc committee are : vice-president Abu Sayeed Nippon, joint general secretary Nayem Uddin, office secretary Morshedul Islam Nishat, treasurer Sohanur Rahman Sohag, publicity secretary Md Redawan and members – Taher Ali, Shimul Nijam, Abed Uddin, Raihan, Al Amin and a representative from Hockey Academy Association of Bangladesh.
