The movie "Naya Manush," which highlights the struggles of the hardworking of flood lives people in the riverine char regions and the unpredictable nature they face, will be released in theaters on the month of victory, December, 2024.
Director Sohel Rana Boyati revealed the film’s release date as December 6th through the movie's poster.
Boyati said, "After facing several challenges, I’m thrilled to finally release the film. The audience will capable of enjoying it during the month of victory. I am quite optimistic about 'Naya Manush'."
The filming started in October 2022, but was interrupted when Cyclone Sitrang caused severe damage to the set, then they had no choice but to stop the work. The shooting picked up again in April 2023 and was concluded in April 2024.
The film "Noya Manush," inspired by AMM Hasanuzzaman's touching story "Bedonar Balu Chore," marks the directorial debut of the filmmaker. The screenplay for the film was written by Masum Reza. The screenplay writer has invited everyone to come and watch the film in theaters. Rawnak Hasan and Mousumi Hamid star in the lead roles of the film.
Moushumi expressed, "We faced many challenges while shooting in the char (river island). The conditions were tough, and we had to stay there during the shoot. "I trust that the audience will enjoy the film once it hits the screens."
"Noya Manush," produced by Nandnik Films under the G-Series banner, also stars Ashish Khandoker, Jhuna Chowdhury, and Parvin Paru, with cinematography by Komol Chandra Das.
