Renowned singer and music director Bappa Mazumder, emerging artist Alvi Aamir, music arranger AK Rahul, along with three bands—Meghdol, Kaktal, and Sahajiya—will take the stage at a concert called "Melody of Mavericks" at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater in the capital today.
The concert, organized by Crow Production, is set to begin in the afternoon.
The organisers said that each music lover has different preferences. But in most concerts, it is seen that songs of a specific genre are getting the upper hand. That is why we are arranging the “Melody of Mavericks” to bring diversity in the concert. Each participating artiste and band of the concert has a unique characteristic. Therefore, there will be no performance of songs of a specific genre. Due to which, the audience of the concert will get the opportunity to listen to various types of songs including melody, rock, fusion.
The amphitheater gate will be opened for the audience at 3:30pm. The concert will start at 4:30pm and will continue until 10:00pm. The audience will be able to enjoy this event by purchasing tickets at a fixed price.
Regarding "Melody of Mavericks," singer Bappa Mazumder stated, “The plan of this event will seem a little different to the audience. The reason is that, this concert will feature various types of songs. Such an event with young and established artistes and bands is rarely seen. So I hope that the concert will fulfill the expectations of many.”
