Rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at a few places over the Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places over the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, with hail at isolated locations, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday noon.
"A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas and seasonal low lies over South Bay," the met office bulletin released.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.
Today's sunset will be at 6:20 pm while tomorrow's sunrise will be at 5:36 am in Dhaka.
The met office recorded the maximum temperature on Wednesday at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Feni of Chattogram division while the minimum temperature at 19.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division, according to a release signed by meteorologist Dr Md Omar Faruq.
