Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman and Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher recently met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in London.
The two Jamaat leaders visited the former prime minister at the residence of her son, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, where she is currently staying.
The meeting was disclosed in a Facebook post on Tuesday night by Maruf Kamal Khan, former press secretary to the BNP chairperson and a journalist.
Khaleda Zia was flown to London on January 8 for advanced medical treatment.
In his post, Maruf Kamal Khan mentioned that the Jamaat leaders met with Khaleda Zia after concluding their Europe tour. Later, they returned to Bangladesh.
Tarique Rahman was also present during the meeting. However, the topics discussed were not disclosed, he added.
