Israel's military continues its strikes on Lebanon, killing at least 31 people in the past 24 hours, amid reports that the Israeli cabinet is preparing to approve a 60-day truce with Hezbollah.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces killed 11 Palestinians in three separate attacks on the northern part of the enclave, while heavy rainfall and rising tides have destroyed the makeshift tents where displaced families have been seeking shelter.
Israeli forces also carried out airstrikes in Syria, killing two civilians in an attack on three bridges near the Lebanon border. The strikes were reportedly aimed at Hezbollah’s arms smuggling routes.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel's actions in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 44,235 Palestinians and left 104,638 others wounded. On the same day, Hamas-led attacks in Israel killed an estimated 1,139 people, with more than 200 individuals taken captive.
Since the start of the war on Gaza, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have resulted in at least 3,768 deaths and 15,699 injuries.
