Turkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi held discussions on Thursday at the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in South Africa, focusing on bilateral and regional matters, according to sources from Turkiye's foreign ministry.
The talks covered the political and economic relations between Turkiye and China, as well as potential areas for further cooperation. Additionally, regional issues such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the ongoing situation in Syria, and developments in Gaza were discussed.
The ministers also addressed global security concerns, considering recent international developments, and exchanged views on threats to global stability.
