Islamic Revolution leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that US should know that it will achieve nothing by threatening Iran, reports state news agency.
The supreme leader of Iran also warned that US should avoid conducting any evil act against the Iranian nation or they will see the dreadful consequences.
“The Americans should know that they will never get anywhere with threats vis-à-vis Iran,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing people from all walks of life in Imam Khomeini Complex in Tehran on Friday.
The Leader stressed that adversaries would receive a hard slap in the face if they fulfilled their threats against Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the enemies were waging a psychological war to distance Iranians from Islamic teachings, but to no avail.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei said the whole world hated the Zionist regime for its “gruesome atrocities” against the Palestinians in Gaza.
The economy
The Leader said the Iranian nation had proven powerful in the face of economic challenges. He stressed that people could contribute to national growth by investing small savings in boosting production.
Ayatollah Khamenei said officials should make people feel safe to make investments in domestic production.
On Thursday, on the start of the Persian New Year, the Leader named the new year the Year of Investment for Production.
