Like every year, five Eid jamaats will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The Islamic Foundation announced this in a statement on Wednesday.
The first jamaat will be held at 7 am. Baitul Mukarram National Mosque's Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Muhibullahil Baki will operate as imam. The Muazzin (retd.) Hafez Ataur Rahman will be the mukabbir.
The second jamaat will be held at 8 am. The Imam will be Baitul Mukarram National Mosque's Senior Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman. The mukabbir will be Chief Khadem Md Nasirullah.
The third jamaat will be held at 9 am. The Islamic Foundation's Muhaddis Maulana Mufti Waliur Rahman Khan will be the imam. The mukabbir will be Md. Abdul Hadi, the khadem of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
The fourth jamaat will be held at 10 am. The imam will be Mushtaq Ahmed, the editor (translation and compilation department) of the Islamic Foundation. The mukabbir will be Md. Alauddin, the khadem of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
The fifth and last jamaat will be at 10:45 am. The imam will be Mufti Md. Abdullah, the khadem of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The mukabbir will be Ruhul Amin, the khadem of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
If any imam is absent in the five jamaats, Maulana Md. Zakir Hossain, the deputy director of the Islamic Foundation, will act as the alternate imam.
