A mild to moderate heat wave is blowing over Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Barisal and Patuakhali districts as well as Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and it may subside at some places, the Meteorological Department has said. Along with this, there may be temporary gusty winds and thundershowers at one or two places in Sylhet division.
This information was given in the 72-hour forecast signed by meteorologist Shahnaz Sultana on Sunday.
According to the forecast, the extension of the low pressure area has extended to West Bengal and adjacent areas. The normal low pressure of the season is located in the south Bay of Bengal.

The day temperature may decrease slightly across the country and the night temperature may increase slightly. The Meteorological Department further said that there is no possibility of any significant change in the next 5 days.
