Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said, a mild heatwave is currently sweeping through several districts of Bangladesh, including Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Jashore, and Chuadanga, with the possibility of continuing for the next few days.
It also forecasted that the weather will remain dry, with a partly cloudy sky across the country, starting from 9 am this morning (April 3).
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain stable, while night temperatures may rise slightly.
On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 38°C in Rajshahi.
The sun will set today at 6:16 pm and rise tomorrow at 5:48 am in the capital.
