Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, the Finance Adviser, has stated that the tariff imposed by the Trump administration on Bangladeshi products will not be too difficult to manage.
He made the remark while speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Sunday, the first working day after the Eid holidays.
“This time people had a good Eid. In March, the country received $3 billion in remittances. As a result, the foreign exchange reserves also increased,” said the adviser.
Regarding the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, he stated that the impact of this new tariff policy would not be significant and would be manageable.
