Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will discuss the new tariff rate announced by the US with the US administration.
Commerce advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin said this while talking to the media personnel in front of the State Guest House Jamuna at 9 pm on Saturday.
Earlier, Chief Advisor to the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus held an emergency meeting on the US tariff issue at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The commerce advisor said, “Our biggest asset is the Chief Advisor. He will discuss the tariff issue with the US administration himself."
He said, “There is nothing to be worried about the new tariff rate announced by the US.”
