Education Adviser Professor CR Abrar said: "There is no chance of question papers being leaked in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations".
He made the statement while speaking to the media around 11:30 am today (April 10) after visiting the Motijheel Government Boys' High School exam center in the capital.
"The sources from which question papers used to be leaked have already been shut down, leaving no possibility of leaks," he said, adding that the results of the SSC examination will be published within 60 days.
The SSC and equivalent exams began at 10:00 am across 2,291 centers under 9 education boards and will run until 1:00 pm.
This year, 19 lakh 28 thousand students are appearing nationwide.
To ensure fair and cheat-free exams, Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has issued guidelines, while law enforcement remains alert against rumors.
