Home Adviser, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, said, "Since the Interim Government took office, no issues related to terrorism have arisen in the country."
He made the remark while exchanging Eid greetings and inspecting activities at various police stations, including Khilkhet, Badda, and Vatara in the capital, in response to questions from journalists today (April 2).
When asked about a report from 'The New York Times', the Home Adviser declined to comment. However, he emphasized that he sees no cause for concern regarding terrorism in the country.
Regarding his visit to police stations, the Adviser said, "The purpose of today’s visit was to exchange Eid greetings with members of the security forces and check on their well-being."
He said that the law and order situation is gradually improving, adding, "Our security forces are working tirelessly, and this progress will continue in the future."
