A mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Feni, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue.

Trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay. A low pressure area is likely to form over South Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours, Met office predicted.
Met office said, rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi & Chattogram divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The Met office yesterday recorded maximum temperature at 38.0 degrees Celsius at Baghabari, Rangpur Division while today's minimum temperature as 18.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 06:17 pm while tomorrow's sunrise here would be at 05:45am.
