The Shawwal moon has been sighted on Sunday in Bangladesh as Muslims here marked the 29th day of Ramadan.

The National Moon Sighting Committee on Sunday (March 30) announced Monday (March 31) as the date for Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival for Muslims, follows Ramadan. The day holds profound religious, cultural, and spiritual significance for Muslims, symbolizing gratitude, renewal, and unity within the community.
