No metro rail service on Eid day

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL) has announced that the metro rail will not be operational on the day of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

DMTCL made the announcement on their verified Facebook page on Saturday.

However, it said metro services would remain operational on the other days of the Eid holiday.

In Bangladesh, Eid is likely to be celebrated on either March 31 or April 1, depending on the sighting of the moon.
