Many people are leaving Dhaka even on the day after Eid. Taking advantage of the long holiday, they are setting off towards their homes with ease. Others are traveling with their families to spend time together on a trip.
This scene has been observed today (April 1) at the Mohakhali bus terminal and Kamalapur railway station.
Since early morning, there has been a noticeable crowd returning home at the Mohakhali bus terminal, particularly on routes to nearby districts such as Mymensingh, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Kishoreganj, and Brahmanbaria.
Meanwhile, many travelers began arriving at Kamalapur station from dawn to catch trains back home. While intercity trains have seen a steady flow of passengers, there is an overwhelming crowd of homeward-bound individuals vying for tickets on commuter trains.
