Six burnt in gas explosion in capital

Six people sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at the Pakistan Maat area in the capital on Monday night.

The injured were rushed to the emergency unit of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 10:00 pm, said Dr Shaon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon of the institute. 

“One of the patients suffered 11 percent burns along with suspected inhalation injury and has been admitted for treatment. The others are under observation,” he added.
