Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rangamati, Feni, Laxmipur, Jashore & Chuadanga and it may continue.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), at a press release, stated this, adding that day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, reports BSS.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
The Met office predicted rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
It said trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas and seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday (April 3) was recorded 38.2°C at Bagabari in Rajshahi Division.
