Shamsuzzaman Dudu, BNP Vice Chairman, has stated that BNP is always up for a challenge. He also feels that BNP is a party that always comes to power with the love and respect of the people.
“BNP has always embraced challenges. No other political party in Bangladesh has faced as many challenges as the BNP has. Every time BNP came to power, it did so with the respect and love of the people.”
He made this remark while delivering the keynote speech as the chief guest at a discussion event at the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday.
Addressing the interim government, he stated, “We have love and respect for you. Do not ruin it. Hold the election before forcing BNP to take to the street. Otherwise, take a look at Hasina(the ousted Prime Minister). We’ll prove that the election will take place by December,” said the veteran politician.
He further added, “If the government does implement something ‘Special’, the upcoming future Bangladesh will be a democratic Bangladesh.”
Addressing the Awami League, he said, “They(Awami League) have killed Bangabandhu(title of Sheikh Mujib) for the second time. Shame on those who flee in such a manner”
