President of the Gono Odhikar Parishad Nurul Haque Nur said, "In the current situation, fascism is raising its head, and the Awami League has started a new evil act. The Awami League has no remorse for killing and injuring so many people, burning down so many people's houses and turning Bangladesh into a hell in the past 16 years in a peaceful student movement in July-August."
He said this while talking to reporters at the beginning of an activists' meeting organized at the Barisal Press Club on Monday afternoon by the Gono Odhikar Parishad Barisal District and Metropolitan.
Nurul Haque Nur also said, "The head of the Awami League and the former Prime Minister of the fallen autocratic government, Sheikh Hasina, has been trying to destabilize the country by making various provocative conspiracy statements from outside the country and by provoking her leaders and activists to take to the streets to create anarchy for a long time. Since Sheikh Hasina is based in India, Delhi cannot avoid responsibility for Sheikh Hasina's misdeeds. The Indian embassy in Dhaka was summoned by the government and told that India should take steps to stop Sheikh Hasina's misdeeds. We have repeatedly said this on our channel. If India wants to establish friendly relations with Bangladesh, then Bangladesh's genocide killer Sheikh Hasina and the genocide accomplices of the Awami League MPs and ministers who are fleeing there must be returned."
