National Citizen Party’s chief organizer (North) Sarjis Alam has urged the people not to cast vote by seeing the party name or symbol rather considering who keep their promises.
He said: “Don’t cast your vote seeing the name of any party and symbol. Vote for those who act keeping their words and work accordingly. The country will march forward if people work selflessly.”
Sarjis said his party will build resistance against repression, oppression, extortion, and syndicate existing in the system of Bangladesh. He alleged that leaders of the political parties had been using general people for long.
He on Monday was speaking at a rally at Bijoy Ekattor Chattor in Debiganj under Panchagarh district.
Earlier in the morning, Sarjis flew to Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari from where he drove to Debiganj in a motorcade of over a hundred vehicles.
He is scheduled to attend an Iftar event at his village in Atwari upazila.
