Bashundhara Shuvosangho distributed awareness leaflets among vehicle drivers and pedestrians in Chapainawabganj on Monday to promote road safety and encourage compliance with traffic laws.
Present at the campaign were Md Rafiqul Alam, adviser of the Bashundhara Shuvosangho Chapainawabganj District Branch; President Md Asifur Rahman; Vice Presidents Md Zahurul Islam and Faruk Hossain; General Secretary Md Waliul Islam; Women's Affairs Secretary Ismat Jahan Sathi; Treasurer Sayema Alam Sristi; Member Md Saif Ali; artist Samar Saha; and other members of the organization.
Members of the Bashundhara Shuvosangho Chapainawabganj District Branch conducted the campaign at Club Super Market, New Market, Boro Indara Mor, College Mor, Shanti Mor, Bishwaroad, and several other locations in the town. During the campaign, drivers were advised to obey traffic laws, remain cautious while driving, and ensure safe movement for pedestrians.
The awareness leaflets carried messages encouraging drivers to follow traffic regulations, avoid overspeeding, demonstrate responsible behavior on the roads, and take necessary measures to prevent accidents.
Members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho said the initiative was undertaken to create awareness among drivers and the general public in an effort to restore discipline on the roads and reduce accidents. Nearly 1,000 drivers received the leaflets during the campaign. The organization plans to conduct similar activities on a larger scale in the future.
