Four suspected measles deaths were reported across the country in the past 24 hours while 1,145 new measles cases were recorded during the same period.
However, no deaths from laboratory confirmed measles were recorded.
The information was released on Monday in a press statement issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to the statement, 1,004 suspected measles cases were reported in the past 24 hours. Since March 15, the total number of suspected cases has reached 100,211.
A total of 141 confirmed measles cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 11,851 since March 15.
No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the past 24 hours. Since March 15, the total number of confirmed measles deaths stands at 93, it added.
