Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised a general knowledge contest for students of Dhaka College at its campus on Monday.
Top ten performers won books, diaries, pens and umbrellas after the contest.
The champion was Md Milon Hossain, first runner-up was Miraz Mia and second runner-up was Siam Hossain. Other recipients were Leon, Mamun, Tushar, Rifat, Musa, Akib, and Ripon.
Shuvosangho Dhaka College unit President Mahmudul Hasan Shovon, General Secretary Emdadul Haque, and the unit’s Adviser and Dhaka College’s Bangla Professor Sariar Sultana were present, among others, during the contest.
Sariar Sultana said Shuvosangho has been regularly arranging events that promote spread and practice of knowledge among poor students. The quiz contests encourage students to gain and share more knowledge.
