Chief adviser of interim government Dr Muhammad Yunus said all people of Bangladesh are like a family and there’s no scope for dividing among them.
He said this on Tuesday in a press conference after visiting the Dhakeshwari National Temple in Dhaka.
Mentioning that everyone's rights are equal under the law, he said, "Please cooperate with us. Then consider what you could do and what you couldn't. Then judge or blame me.”
The chief adviser said, I will request you not to go into any faction. Fights will break out only if it happens. Come together and under one law that will give us the right to the law. We are one people. No distinction can be made among our rights.”
The chief adviser said, "If you say ‘I am so and so,’ then and you have gone back to the old game. You will say, we are people of Bangladesh, this is my constitutional right and it has to give to us. This is what you should want from all governments, and nothing else.”
