Intercity trains to resume on August 15

Intercity trains to resume on August 15

The intercity service of the Bangladesh Railway will resume on August 15 after more than three weeks.

Tickets for intercity trains will be available online from 5:00 pm tomorrow (Monday). 

However, the authority will resume operation of goods trains tomorrow (Monday), while mail, express, local and commuter trains will start services on August 13.

Nahid Hasan Khan, director (public relations) of Bangladesh Railway confirmed the matter through SMS.

The operation of Parabat Express and Jamalpur Express will remain suspended temporarily, added the official.
