Four platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in the capital’s Shahbagh, Matsya Bhaban, and Hotel InterContinental areas to maintain law and order.
Md Shariful Islam, public relations officer of the BGB, confirmed the media on Tuesday (November 26).
Earlier on Monday, six platoons of BGB were deployed in the capital’s Jatrabari-Demra area to maintain law and order following a fierce clash among the students of Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul College and Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College.
