The executive committee of the Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Comilla University unit organised an introduction and planning meeting on Tuesday.
The gathering took place at the university’s VC Square at 11am, where members convened to discuss the organisation's goals and implementation plans.
During the meeting, the president, general secretary, and executive members shared their perspectives on upcoming initiatives.
Key action items discussed include distributing winter clothing to the underprivileged near the university, organising a campus-wide literary competition, arranging book-reading sessions, providing scholarships for underprivileged students, setting up dustbins for proper waste management, distributing awareness-raising placards, offering first aid support on the sports field, and organising a veterinary campaign.
Shuvosangho president Tarin Sumaiya said, "In this initial meeting, we have laid out several plans. We aim to implement each one step-by-step, spreading the spirit of goodwill across campus and inspiring students to engage in positive activities."
