Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised an Al-Quran recitation competition in Jamalganj upazila of Sunamganj on Wednesday (March 12).
More than 50 Hifzul Quran students participated in the competition held at Jamalganj Hafiziya Noorania Madrasha and Orphanage.
The judges for the event included Central Jame Mosque Imam Hafez Maulana Mohammad Nur Uddin, Hafiziya Noorania Madrasha director Hafez Abdur Rahim, and Shuvosangho adviser Abdul Ahad.
Abid Hasan secured first place in the competition, while Ariful Hasan and Jobair Ahmed took the following positions.
Hafez Abdur Rahim expressed his gratitude to Bashundhara Shuvosangho for organising the contest for the youth during the holy month of Ramadan.
Shuvosangho upazila unit president Md Shahin Alam, vice president Saif Ullah, general secretary Asad Nur, joint general secretary Sadiqur Rahman Swadhin, joint organising secretary Taher Ahmed and office secretary Enamul Haque were present on the occasion.
