Bashundhara Shuvosangho has stood by a physically challenged individual in Pabna by donating goods for his shops and providing a sewing machine for his wife, empowering the underprivileged family.
Members of Shuvosangho reached various goods, including tea equipment, to a small grocery shop of Babu Pramanik, a physically challenged person in Narayanpur village of Sujanagar upazila of Pabna.
The organisation will also provide sewing training for her wife.
Shuvosangho central committee member Ali Akbar Raju, upazila unit President Afzal Hossain, and General Secretary Delwar Hossain, Kaler Kantho district correspondent Prabir Saha, multimedia correspondent Rajib Joardar, and local businessmen Habibur Rahman Rob and Mithun Mia were present on the occasion.
One of Babu’s sons, Shishir Pramanik, will appear for his SSC examination from Mathurapur High School. Babu’s family survives on a meager income from his grocery store and his wife’s sewing machine. Poverty and hardship are a constant struggle for them.
