Bashundhara Shuvosangho has distributed iftar items among low-income people in different areas of Patiya town of Chattogram.
Members of Shuvosangho served iftar among traffic police, security personnel, labourers, underprivileged children, and pedestrians in different areas of the Thana intersection, post office, bus stand, and Dak Bungalow intersection of the area.
Patiya Press Club President Abdul Hakim Rana, Office Secretary Kamrul Islam, Shuvosangho Greater Chattogram unit President SMA Jewel, and Shuvosangho members Md Azgar, Md Sajjat, Md Mizan, and Md Azad were, among others, present on the occasion.
“We collect paper bottles and do not buy iftar with whatever we earn. During iftar, we eat whatever people give us,” said Sourav, a street child, with a smile on his face.
Labourers, underprivileged children, and pedestrians expressed their joy after receiving the iftar from Bashundhara Shuvosangho.
