Bashundhara Shuvosangho School in Dhaka's Mirpur-14 organized an awareness session for students on Monday marking International Infection Prevention Week.
School authorities organized the event to educate students on the importance of infection prevention and highlight effective measures to stay protected.
Teachers from Bashundhara Shuvosangho School, including Selina Akter, Taniye Akter, and Bithi Akter attended the event among others.
Members from the Bashundhara Shuvosangho's Kafrul branch were also present, including Rufaida Akter, Rafia Tasnim, Fauzia Faisal Flora, Umme Raihan Tahera, Mosammat Boni Akter (Kotha), Swapna Akter Sumaiya, Nabiha Nawal, Rifah Nanjiba Abika, Wali Ullah Khan, Sakib Sadman Tahsin, Nazmul Hasan Maruf, and Sajibul Islam Mohsin.
During the session, Shuvosangho members emphasized the importance of following health guidelines, practising proper handwashing, and maintaining healthy habits to prevent infections. They reminded students that the COVID-19 pandemic has taught everyone the critical need to take preventive measures to protect both themselves and others.
The awareness programme concluded with a call to action for students to remain vigilant in maintaining hygiene and adopting safe practices in their daily lives.
