Bashundhara Shuvosangho on Tuesday organised a tree plantation programme in Dhaka College.
Members of the Dhaka College unit of Shuvosangho planted saplings of various tree species as part of the event.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho's Dhaka College unit president Rajib Khan, office bearers Shihab Hossain, Touhidur Rahman, Farhad, Arafat, Nur Hossain and Altaf, among others, attended the event.
Addressing the occasion, Rajib Khan emphasised the need to not only plant trees but also prevent their destruction to address resource scarcity.
“Saving trees will boost forest resources and improve the environment,” he said.
