Bashundhara Shuvosangho has organised an Islamic competition in Thakurgaon to inspire youths in Gazal, including Hamd and Naat-e-Rasul (PBUH), in the holy month of Ramadan.
Held on Tuesday, the event witnessed six participants awarded prizes in two groups of three.
In Group A, Saba secured first position, followed by Junaid Habib and Huzaifa. In Group B, Mujahid Islam won first prize, while Tanjim and Sadek took the subsequent positions.
Md Ratul Hasan from Thakurgaon Polytechnic unit said, “Ghazal is an integral part of our culture. It is not just a song; it allows us to express our emotions, feelings, and spiritual consciousness,” he said.
Joint General Secretary of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Central Committee Md Yasir Arafat Rafi said, “I would like to thank the Bashundhara Shuvosangho Thakurgaon District Branch for organising such a beautiful programme.”
Yasir Arafat Rafi from the Shuvosangho central committee while Rakib, Abdullah Al Azad, Russell, Sadiq, Rifat, and Shakib from the district unit were present on the occasion.
