The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, a platform for protesting students, issued an ultimatum demanding to dissolve the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) by 3pm on Tuesday.
Otherwise a strict program will be announced, they warned.
Anti-discrimination student movement coordinator Nahid Islam announced this in a video message around 12:30 pm.
He said, “Even after the people's coup, Hasina's parliament was not dissolved. If Parliament is not dissolved by 3pm today (Tuesday), a strict program will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday). I call upon the revolutionary students to be ready.”
