The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has rejected the government-announced nationwide curfew from 6:00 pm on Sunday, imposed for an indefinite period.
Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the movement, said this in a Facebook post on Sunday evening, Daily Sun reports.
“None of their (government) orders remains effective after waging a one-point movement. So, we reject the government-announced curfew,” he wrote on his Facebook wall.
Earlier in the day, the government announced a nationwide curfew for an indefinite period to be enforced from Sunday evening amid the worsening situation following the student movement.
