Rejecting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s call for talks to resolve the ongoing stalemate, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement announced an all-out non-cooperation movement starting on Sunday, demanding the government's resignation.
Since the morning, protesters have clashed with police and ruling party supporters in Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, and various parts of the country, resulting in the deaths of at least 82 people.
Among the deceased, eighteen from Sirajganj, four from Dhaka, two from Sherpur, six from Narshingdi, two from Bogura, three each from Munshiganj, Rangpur, four from Magura, three from Pabna, two from Cumilla, eight from Feni, one from Barishal, two from Sylhet and three from Khishoregonj, one from Bhola, one from Joypurhat, one from Hobigonj.
