The anti-discrimination student movement has called for a non-cooperation movement across the country. Meanwhile, at 11 o'clock, protests and mass gatherings will also be held at important points across the country including the capital according to their call.
Asif Mahmud, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, said this in a Facebook post at midnight on Saturday.
He said, “Besides the non-cooperation movement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her cabinet, protests and mass gatherings will be held at important points across the country including the capital tomorrow (August 4) from 11 am. I am calling the students to take a stand at the entrances of Dhaka from morning.”
Asif Mahmud also said that protests and mass gatherings will be held centrally at Shahbagh from 11 am. We invite everyone to participate to ensure maximum attendance.
Asif Mahmud called upon students of schools, colleges, universities, private universities, along with professionals, political and non-political groups to come down on the streets to make the program successful.
