A total of 150 people were killed at different parts of the country during the recent quota reform movement, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal presented the facts during the weekly cabinet meeting on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, Kamal ensured 147 causalities in the quota reform movement but the death toll stood at 150 on Monday, said Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain told reporters during a press conference at the secretariat in Dhaka in the afternoon.
On Sunday while talking to the journalists, the home minister said that alongside the students, leaders and activists of Awami League and its student front Chhatra League were also killed in the movement.
