A Dhaka Children's court on Sunday scraped chief metropolitan magistrate court's (CMM) order of placing a student of Dhaka College Hasnatul Islam Faiyaz on seven-day remand as the accused was found to be under aged, reports BSS.
CMM court on July 27 placed the boy on seven-day remand in a subversion case filed by the police as the defence failed to submit any evidence in support of his age.
The defence, however, submitted his birth certificate and SSC certificate before the CMM court on Sunday, making it to suspend his remand order and forward the matter to concerned Children's court.
The children's court after holding hearing on the matter, scrapped Faiyaz's remand.
