Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday visited the injured persons in the nationwide rampage centering the quota reform movement at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and Hospital at Shahbagh, reports BSS.
After visiting the Central Police Hospital (CPH) at Rajarbagh, she directly went to the BSMMU and Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
During her visit to the BSMMU, the prime minister enquired about the health condition of the injured persons and their treatment.
She asked the authorities concerned to take every possible measure for ensuring proper treatment of the injured.
The Premier also assured the victims of extending all sorts of assistance to ensure their proper treatment.
BSMMU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Deen Mohd. Noorul Huq and Director of the hospital Brig. Gen. Dr. Md. Rezaur Rahman apprised the prime minister of the measures taken for treatment of the injured people.
