All government offices will remain operational for six hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for the next three days from Sunday.
Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain confirmed the matter to media on Saturday afternoon.
Banks and courts would set their office hours.
However, offices of the emergency services will remain out of the purview of the new timing, he added.
Earlier on 24 July, offices resumed as the government declared general holidays for three days until 23 July imposing a curfew across the country from 20 July.
On 24 and 25 July, the government offices ran for four hours amid the relaxation of curfew.
